Don't let the rundown strip mall facade dissuade you...inside is succulent Honduran food and great service. The owner operators have quite the hidden gem. From empanadas to tortillas to pollo to your name it. Each and every dish is hands down amazing. And if you like football (soccer to those uninitiated) you just might be in heaven.

Unique little gem that offer a variety of Hondura's food. As everyone says, the balenas were delicious and I recommend them. I look forward to trying their other dishes and expand on my review.

While sightseeing in the city of Seattle with my son, he wanted to surprise me and stopped at this amazing spot. We were greeted upon entering the restaurant and the ambiance was filled with positive energy. The eating area and the ladies room were very clean and inviting. We ordered arroz con pollo and sopa de mondongo which was sooooo delicious and filling! We had enough to take home for the next day. It always gives me pleasure and a sense of pride when I visit a business owned by my people. I am a proud Garifuna, Black, Latina woman who believes in supporting businesses owned by folks of my culture. If you want to try delicious Central American cuisine and you're in the Seattle area, check this place out and you won't regret it.

My family and I drove quite a ways to try this restaurant due to the fact that we've heard quite a lot of positive things about their food. It's a bit hidden if you are not familiar with the area. I went off pictures I had seen on other reviews. The inside dining space is pretty small. There is about 7 tables inside. Some seat 4 others 6. They do require you to wear a mask while in the establishment and when you are not seated at your table. The service was excellent! There was one waitress and she was attentive and nice, which is ALWAYS a plus! We were there for quite some time and not once did we feel rushed to leave. A gentleman I believe was the owner was very friendly as well and stopped by our table about 3 time to chat. You can tell they have regulars that go in frequently too. Now, as far as their food. I wasn't left disappointed. We ordered quite a few dishes. I enjoyed them all! My husband and a couple family members that were with us are from Honduras and they all really enjoyed their meals and said the drive was well worth it. So as far as authentic goes, they are authentic. From a non Honduran, as myself, I was pleased with my meal. I wasn't WOW'd to be honest but I would sure go back and try something more authentic second time around since this visit I just ordered the fried fish. Note: If you order an appetizer you may get full just off of that! :)

In our visit to the Seattle area we came across Mi Bella Honduras Restaurant. We ended up visiting twice because of how delicious it was. My husband is Honduran and I must say, I love Honduran dishes. We enjoyed: pupusas, baleadas, sopa de caracol & sopa de mondongo - i highly recommend all! During our visit we learned that the owner actually receives good from Honduras every two weeks (not sure if that has changed since our visit in Dec 2020) - during the time that we were there we bought: - Mantequilla (sour cream) - Encurtido de cebolla - Quesillo - Margaritas - Queso Hondureño I wish we had a little place like this in the Bay Area...

I had a pandemic car picnic in the parking lot of Mi Bella Honduras Restaurant in Federal Way, and the food was bomb even though my pics were bad. We had: - Baleada #4 with carne asada, 4.5/5 - Carne asada plate, no rating because my husband wolfed it down before I had a bite - Hondurean tamale (nacatamale) with pork, 5/5 - Chicken and cheese pupusa, 4/5 Deal alert: the total for all this food with tax before tip was less than $30! The baleada could almost be a delicious meal on its own. Large handmade tortilla with eggs, avocado, carne asada, refried beans, cheese, and Hondurean sour cream (mantequilla), and comes with a delicious sauce, plus flavorful hot sauce. The nacatamale is amazing, you all. There was a generous portion of pork in it, and the green olives were a nice touch. Steaming in banana leaf instead of corn husks also gave it extra flavor. Yum! The pupusa was great too, ooey, gooey, cheesy, and served with a delicious slaw, but when I go back I'll definitely go for the nacatamale first, followed by the baleada. As for the carne asada, all I can say is that my husband took a bite before I could snap a picture, and finished the whole box of food before I finished my baleada. He said it was good, and I say action speaks louder than tasty descriptions. Go support this wonderful minority-owned restaurant. There are less than a handful of Hondurean restaurants in the Seattle-Tacoma area so let's help this one survive the pandemic!

This is starting to become comfort food for me. I am moving toward the vegetarian spectrum, and I was bored. Plátanos dulces para la victoria. Sweet plaintains for the win. This is such a great way to explore flavors while also getting that home-cooked vibe. It is not fast food, and it is not supposed to be. These ingredients are simple and the food is made with care and love. The entrees are reasonably priced, and delicious to boot. You can increase the heat with their house made hot sauces, and then cool off with a variety of beverages that you will not find at QFC (no shade, but...). Black-owned. A very sweet, and hard-working husband and wife team from Honduras to put Garifuna culture into our bellies, and our hearts. You will not want to miss out. So, stop just passing by it on Pac Hwy, and give it a try.

I absolutely love this place. I grew up with Honduran food all my life, watching my grandma spend hours to prepare just the sauce, or just the plantains for the full course meal we'd enjoy for the rest of the week. I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality of cooking, very similar to what I'm used to! Also, can we talk about their $30 family meal?! Amazing quality, amazingly affordable. The male owner is an incredibly welcoming and nice man from Roatán who seems to be well connected with the community, his wife seemed very angry when I wanted to ask her a question but hey, what head cook isn't angry? Another plus side is all the imported gifts and imported beer they have! You can't just find some of these things anywhere else, adds a special reason to go. Overall, I was incredibly pleased and hope to be back soon!
